The standards we will all now live by.

If you ever experienced the G.A.S. Customer experience, then we would like to think you have had a small dose of who we are. A team of people that is fully committed to serving our clients in every way, and hopefully gain a friend in the process, all while being invloved in the community.

We have a passion for cars and helping our clients, as well as an intense desire to give each client the exceptional service they deserve. If this sounds like you, then keep reading to learn more about our processes and who we are as a company. If you are a current or future client, below is what G.A.S. is about. If you are a current or future team member, the same applies. These will all be listed as #1. Because when you put things in order 1-12, it implies order of importance. These core values are all equally important.

LEAD THE WAY BY EXAMPLE

We know that there is literally no other effective way to lead than from the front. You cannot lead if you are not willing to do so. You cannot teach or expect anyone to follow your lead if you haven't done the work yourself and set the standard on what to do and how to do it.

LOYALTY TO EACH OTHER & OUR CLIENTS

We are, above all else, loyal. Loyalty means being there for your teammates, being in the trenches with them, becuase you know they would do the same for you. You are nothing without your team. What we are loyal to shapes us, defines our beliefs, and the life we create for ourselves, our team, and our families. 

EXCEED REQUIREMENTS

Always go the extra mile. Always striving to over deliver on people's expectations in everything that you do and do it with excitement and enthusiasm. Going the extra mile can be the difference between having a positive impact on them or having a negative impact.

BE HUMBLE

Stay humble and practice humility when it comes to your progress and accomplisments. Staying humble is key to long term success. Because when you are humble you know that no matter how great you are in some areas, there is always room to improve with which drives you to continually invest in yourself, push yourself, and fufill your full potential. That doesn't mean we won't show our accomplishments but be humble enough to know you have never "made" it.

TAKE OWNERSHIP

We believe in accepting full ownership of our actions and performance. When you identify an issue or given a task, own that issue or task and see it through to its completion. Do not shift blame. Work to make it right. 

BE DISCIPLINED

To be disciplined is to be able to follow through on what you said you were going to do, well after the motivation is gone. You cannot and should not rely on feeling motivated to follow through on your promises to yourself. Stay focused on executing the processes and fundamentals of what built momentum and success, while looking for ways to improve. 

TAKE THE BULL BY THE HORNS

Do not wait to be told to do something. When you see something that needs to be done, do it right then. Take the initiative to get tasks done without being asked. Be self-driven and look to constantly push yourself forward and do what needs to be done to succeed. You can do this anywhere, getting involved in your community, picking up trash, helping others, and anything else that betters G.A.S., your family, your clients, and your community. 

BUILD FUN & POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS

Work to build positive and fun relationships wherever you go. Quality, positive relationships are what people thrive on. Consistently making efforts to build strong relationships with everyone you encounter creates strong bonds and lifelong friendships, and the sense of community that truly makes the gas family so special moving forward.

KEEP LEARNING

Invest in yourself to be better, not only for yourself, but for everyone around you. We believe in taking the time to learn new things to better ourselves personally and improve our performance. Learning is essential to growth. Our personal growth and performance have a direct impact on those around us. So by always learning, we can be the best version of ourselves and leave a positive impact on our clients, our company, our team and their families, and our community.

BE SELFLESS

We believe in always doing the right thing and making decisions based on what is the right thing to do without expectation of anything in return. We are always striving to give more than we take and constantly monitor our intent in any decision-making process.

BE ENTHUSIASTIC AND EXCITABLE

We are enthusiastic about being a part of Georgetown Auto Sales family. We believe that when we are enthusiastic about something, when something truly fulfills us, we are more likely to follow through with it. Enthusiasm can make or break not only your attitude about something, but someone else's as well. Remaining enthusiastic in situations can better help you push through life's difficulties and failures in the workplace or at home.

We believe in the big picture, the direction we are all collectively going and exactly what needs to be done to get there. We believe in the mission and that the work will be worth it. We believe the daily struggle will pay off. We believe doing the right thing is the right thing and we believe in these core values. Most importantly, we believe in the individuals who make up our incredible Georgetown Auto Sales family. We need to live by these values, together as a team, both inside and outside these walls. It's who we fundamentally are at our core and we believe that.
